Our chapter provides panels of bereaved parents and siblings who go out into the community and speak to raise awareness and educate as to the real aftermath of a child's death. We have spoken to groups of doctors, nurses, social workers, clergy, college classes, therapists, and others. TCF-LA now has this new telephone number for Spanish-speakers and those seeking to assist them. Professionals seeking assistance with Spanish-speaking bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings may phone the above number, and leave a message. Spanish speakers may also call directly. A bereaved parent who is fluent in both Spanish and English will return the call and offer help.

Yearly Yard Sale
Each year in September, our chapter puts on a large yard sale. It helps us raise money for the running of our chapter (newsletter costs, meeting rent, etc.). It also provides fellowship among the members working together on a common goal and spending time together outside the meeting format.
